- Law Firms, Legal Departments, Courts, public institutions, professional bodies, Joint Initiatives, Academic institutions and legal-technology companies may submit
- The solution must have been implemented, materially expanded or demonstrably adopted during the Eligibility Period
- Ideas, prototypes without meaningful use, and unimplemented software purchases are ineligible
- Governance, security, privacy, bias, accuracy and professional-responsibility risks addressed where relevant
Full requirements
- Law Firms, Legal Departments, Courts, public institutions, professional bodies, Joint Initiatives, and Academic institutions, allowed to submit.
- Legal-technology companies. A technology company entering alone must prove implemented legal-sector adoption; joint entry with an implementing legal organisation is preferred.
- The solution must have been implemented, materially expanded or demonstrably adopted during the Eligibility Period, unless the Awards Oversight Committee approves an exception based on documented circumstances.
- Ideas, prototypes without meaningful use and software purchases without implementation are ineligible.
- The entrant must address governance, security, privacy, bias, accuracy and professional-responsibility risks where relevant.
- Problem statement and implementation timeline.
- Before-and-after or comparable outcome metrics.
- User or client reference.
- Adoption data and governance safeguards.
- Demonstration or secure access if requested.
